Many companys struggle with integration and management of suppliers from Emerging Markets. The survey is based on the study "Trends and Strategies in International Procurement" that took place 2003.
Aim of the survey
The questionnaire addresses Purchasing and Logistics Managers from different industries and includes topics such as supplier management, cooperation principles with partners from Emerging Markets and the integration of logistics service providers in the sourcing process. With this survey we aim to increase transparency in the sourcing process and beyond others answer the following questions:
- Which are the decisive factors in sourcing from Emerging Markets?
- Which co-operation strategies enable optimal supplier integration?
- Which actions offer the highest benefit potential in selection and management of suppliers?
- Which effects has the integration of external service providers in the sourcing process?
From the survey recommendations of actions shall be derived and sourcing strategies for the sourcing in Emerging Markets will result.
