The Competence for International Logistics Networks is funded by the Kuehne foundation and seeks to contribute to research and practice in the field of international logistics since 2005. In addition to many topics, ILNET focuses strongly on research on dealing with risks and volatility in logistics networks, looks into the future and tries to show development paths of future international logistics networks, but also investigates new technologies and their effect on logistics management. Even if no regional limitation is made, Europe, Africa and China are the main focus regions. ILNET always seeks to integrate research and practice through various formats such as industry workshops, conferences, management concepts, supply chain case studies for teaching and training, an online logistics planning tool (TUB Logistics Navigator) and many more. Thereby, ILNET works together with a network of globally operating companies as well as internationally renowed universities (e.g. Tonji University and Kuehne Logistics University).
