The SMECS ("Smart Event Forecast for Seaport") project led by the Chair of Logistics on AI-based prediction of intermodal logistics chains was recently completed. In order to make the results of the project available to the public, the decision support system developed has now been implemented in a web-based application in the form of a demonstrator. This demonstrator provides users with the opportunity to interactively investigate the potentials of AI using selected historical, anonymized transport orders as examples. The demonstrator is available at www.smecs-eta.de.
