The Chair of Logistics administers the module "Strategies and Business Models of Digital Transformation" supervised by Prof. Dr. Sabina Jeschke from the FG Digital Transformation after consultation in the Faculty Council.

After holding professorships at the University of Stuttgart and RWTH Aachen, Prof. Jeschke was appointed to the Board of Management for Digitalisation and Technology at Deutsche Bahn AG in 2017. She is Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of DB Systel GmbH and a member of the Supervisory Boards of Körber AG and Schenker AG.

She also holds honorary professorships at RWTH Aachen University, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and at Technische Universität Berlin, Faculty of Economics and Management, with a focus on digital technologies and digital transformation. Her focus is on AI, data analytics, cyber-physical systems, robotics, automation technology and human-machine interaction.

In 2014, Sabina Jeschke received the award "Germany's Digital Minds" from the Gesellschaft für Informatik (German Informatics Society), and in 2015 she was awarded the golden Nikola Tesla Medal from the International Society for Engineering Education IGIP for her contributions to modern engineering education. Prof. Jeschke is a Senior Member of the IEEE, a Senator of Acatech and a Fellow of RWTH Aachen University. She supports the German government in the High-Tech Strategy, the Scientific Advisory Council of the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs, the Economic Advisory Council of AKK, the Innovation Council of the Minister of State for Digitalisation and the Digital Circle of the Federal Ministry of the Environment, as well as the Digital Council of the BDA.
